"Saif got into Rice University with almost a full ride"
★★★★★
🎓 Rice University Full Ride

Saif got into Rice University with almost a full ride. This is because of your help. Jazakallahkhair for everything. He also got a full ride scholarship from George Mason University, Denison, and generous scholarships from UVA and VTech. You provided him a big support. We are very very thankful to you.

Ruhee Q
"I went from having no idea to seeing so many options"
★★★★★

One of the things I've found most valuable in this course is my mindset shift. I went from "I have no idea what to do when I get older" to "there are so many options of careers that would interest me." I went from "I need to take all these honors and AP classes to get into colleges" to "I need to get good grades but I also need to stand out from the crowd." I went from "I don't have enough time to do anything" to "I'm not using my time wisely enough" and my coach helped me find better ways to manage my time. The one-on-ones with my coach were super helpful with everything.

"The mentorship goes beyond and above the boundaries of the program"
★★★★★

I just want to say that this program has been phenomenal for my 15-year-old daughter, Wania. Not just clarifying for her the paths she would fit into best but the personal level of mentorship that she was receiving from Sister Asumini and Brother Hamza is something that goes beyond and above the boundaries of the program. We have found support rooted in deen and knowledge of dunya that will be with our family for a long time ahead InshaAllah!

"Alhamdulilah I got into Berkeley"
★★★★★
🎓 UC Berkeley

ASA, alhamdulilah I got into Berkeley. Thank you so much for all your help and your duas.

"This program will really be in my heart until the end of time"
★★★★★

I struggled to find my passion, and I always pondered my future, thinking "What do I even want to be in my life?" I felt empty, always feeling hopeless about my future. After a few days into summer vacation, my mom got an email about FYQ an amazing program that could help you look into your future, ignite it, and help you find your passion. I was eager to join. At times, I felt that I would be the first student to not find my passion. I ended up finding the passion right under my nose writing and reading! I loved my one-on-ones with Sr. Morjane. I would be excited to talk to her about my passion! The sessions were AMAZING so informal, and this program got me closer to my Deen. I fell in love with my passion project and gazed in awe at the other projects as well. This program will really be in my heart until the end of time.

"FYQ was my son's 15th birthday gift. I wish I had given it to him when he was 12"
★★★★★

FYQ is a very inspiring program, not only for our children but also for us as adults and Muslims first-generation in the US who navigate issues of identity, exposure, and academic success. Your program has introduced us to the idea that success has many faces and that academic pursuits should be balanced with other aspects of life. The ongoing work that Sr. Asumini did with Ahmed, along with your valuable sessions, workshops, and webinars, reassured us that our teen can start thinking about his future based on sacred values. "FYQ is a must in today's world, filled with distractions and misleading directions. FYQ is not only helpful for my kid, but as a mom, it helps me understand his thoughts and limits through the systematic approach of his coaches and the regular meetings they hold with the kids and parents. FYQ is an experience I encourage all families to give their children a chance to participate in. Actually, FYQ was my son's 15th birthday gift. I wish I had given it to him when he was 12, but coming late is better than not coming at all."

"I was recently accepted into Harvard and Columbia"
★★★★★
🎓 Harvard & Columbia

Assalamu alaikum Br. Hamzah, thank you for all your help last summer with college applications during the College Essay Bootcamp. My parents and I are listening to your financial aid webinar, which is very timely for us. I was recently accepted into Harvard and Columbia and I am working on appealing the financial aid. Thank you for everything.

"Find Your Qibla has truly been a life-changing experience for me"
★★★★★

Find Your Qibla has truly been a life-changing experience for me! I joined FYQ with many passions and ideas but wasn't sure how to channel them. This program encouraged me to reflect, build self-awareness, and work on becoming a better version of myself. I was able to connect my strengths, interests, and love for Islam to create a meaningful project that I hope to carry beyond high school. Alhamdulillah, I've gained so many valuable lessons that I will take with me through life. May Allah reward the coaches and everyone behind FYQ, Ameen!

"He runs to join his calls I know he loves this work"
★★★★★

Asalamu Alaykum dear sister, this IS an incredibly beautiful window into the work. He runs to join his calls so I know he loves this work and really believes in it. I believe he was craving this in his life and Alhamdulilah for this opportunity. May Allah swt put Barakat in all you do and bless you dear sister. I can see him going deep to find his true self and develop further for today and tomorrow for the sake of Allah swt. Looking forward to what's ahead!

"I hope to help the Ummah by playing to my strengths"
★★★★★

During the FYQ program, I found that the most beneficial resource for myself was the one-on-one meetings with my individual mentor. These sessions really allowed me to go into depth about the essence of the reflection and ideation that was happening in the weekly assignments. Some knowledge and skills that I gained were the ability to reflect on myself and apply what I learn while reflecting into life. Additionally, this program helped a lot with communication skills and getting me to step out of my comfort zone. I hope that this program will be impactful on my future by not only getting me into an elite university but also getting me to help the Ummah by playing to my strengths.

Zeeshan's Parents — FYQ Summer 2025
"We are abundantly satisfied with the FYQ program"
★★★★★

As parents of a teen boy, we wanted him to spend the summer engaged in meaningful and purposeful activities. Over the course of eight weeks, we witnessed tremendous progress in our child. The coaches guided him step by step from ideation to developing a meaningful SMP, and ultimately to presenting his project with confidence before an audience. The structured approach combined creativity, accountability, and purpose. As parents, we especially valued the regular check-ins with coaches through 1:1 sessions and active WhatsApp group updates. Our son was encouraged to reflect on his values, aspirations, and the direction he wishes to take in life. Overall, we are abundantly satisfied with the FYQ program. It delivered on its promise of combining personal growth, skill-building, and spiritual grounding. We highly recommend it to any parent who wants their child to develop clarity, confidence, and a strong sense of purpose qualities that will prepare them for college and career while keeping them connected to their deen.

Ridwan Q — FYQ 2026
"I found like-minded (and like-restricted) people like me"
★★★★★

I used to think I was the only kid who liked reading and wasn't allowed social media or a phone. Now I have found like-minded (and like-restricted) people like me because I joined Find Your Qibla, alhamdulliah.

Mehnaz N — Parent
"The program gave him clear direction to pursue his passion project"
★★★★★

Our son had an enriching experience with Five Before College through the summer program Find Your Qibla (FYQ). The program gave him clear direction and the encouragement he needed to pursue his passion project. His mentor was incredibly supportive, helping him think more strategically about his goals, strengthen his profile, and better prepare for the college application process. We are grateful for the positive impact this program has had on his journey.

Alina
"I ended with a solid plan for a tutoring business"
★★★★★

FYQ has been so beneficial in helping me see a clearer path to college. I started the program unsure that my hobby of writing could actually make a decent passion project, but ended with a solid plan for a tutoring business. The one-on-ones with my coach were especially helpful very casual and low-stress and gave me the opportunity to simply talk out my goals and ideas. I recommend this program for virtually anyone who has no idea how they want to structure their life before college, or even for people who know exactly what they want, because you'll get so much valuable guidance for refining it and putting everything into action.

Lori S — Parent
"He now wakes up at 8am on Saturdays to teach soccer to special needs kids"
★★★★★

InshAllah this finds you well. I wanted to send a quick note to say Eid Mubarak and express how much Kashif and I appreciate your program and all the amazing work you are doing with Ibrahim to prepare him for college and beyond. MashAllah, with your help and direction, we have seen so much growth and determination from him this year. He went from being unsure about how he was going to continue debate this year, to now starting a debate team at his school and placing second place in the last two debate tournaments. Today, he started a new volunteer gig. MashAllah this kid who liked to sleep in on Saturdays is now waking up at 8am to teach soccer skills to special needs kids. We appreciate all that you do, especially the 1-on-1 mentorship and detailed progress reports. May Allah swt bless you.

Maryam F
"I have a list of 51 things I want to accomplish in my lifetime"
★★★★★

The most valuable thing in this course was the one-on-one coaching with my mentor. It gave me the opportunity to talk privately, share my problems, and benefit from her advice. I also enjoyed our Ikigai activity because it allowed me to get a sense of which direction I want to go. My favourite part of the course was how Br. Hamzah combined deen and dunya and constantly reminded us that our end goal is Jannah. As someone who gets too caught up with school work sometimes, the weekly reminders were really beneficial. I learned how to slowly let go of perfectionism. As for personal growth I have slowly started becoming less college-crazy in the sense that I know college is not my goal, but Jannah is. I know which direction I'll be taking in the future career-wise, and I have a list of 51 things I want to accomplish in my lifetime.

Sister Zainab — Parent, FYQ Summer 2025
"We watched our son truly transform"
★★★★★

We watched our son truly transform through the Find Your Qibla Program. He took ownership, stayed committed, and worked hard to reach his goals. With the incredible support and mentorship he received, he began uncovering his strengths, exploring his passions, and opening his eyes to new possibilities. Being paired with a dedicated mentor became the driving force that inspired his motivation and confidence. Most importantly, the program reminded him not to neglect his deen, but to hold it as an anchor shaping his identity and guiding his interests.

Hafsah S
"When I look at your website ah, that's some kind of playbook"
★★★★★

Back home, there was a playbook. If you follow the playbook you have a pretty good chance of success. Moving here, I don't think you have a playbook. I don't think a lot of other Muslim families have that playbook. When I look at your website, I feel like ah, that's some kind of playbook.

"This is the first time I saw her taking notes all this change in just two months"
★★★★★

She enjoys every class. Once she told me, "Don't call it my passion project. Writing a book is not just my passion project it is my passion... my dream. I am going to become a writer." She is so into it that she watches YouTube videos about writing and takes notes. This is the first time I saw her taking notes. All this change in just two months. I can't thank you enough. Sister Morjane is amazing in just a little time she knows so much about Zahra's personality. Thank you again for giving us this opportunity. May Allah swt bless you and your team. Ameen.

FYQ Live Participant — Boston 2026
"A lot of us were strangers on Friday. Friends for life, in three days."
★★★★★

A lot of us were strangers on Friday. Here we are now an incredible sense of brotherhood and sisterhood. Friends for life, in three days. One mother told me that in her 15 years, she had never been to an event this powerful. And that she had never seen her son so at home, or so eager to talk. And one student described what we do better than I ever have: "Five Before College is life coaching, with an emphasis on college. You don't just teach us about college. You teach us how to live. And like you said, the real admissions day is Yawm al-Qiyamah."

Wania
"My experience with Find Your Qibla was phenomenal"
★★★★★

As a homeschooler, I was overwhelmed thinking about possible careers I could pursue, how to start off with a passion project, and just understanding the basics of college admission requirements and the application process. My experience with Find Your Qibla was phenomenal. I found out more about myself my capabilities and skills really began to stand out to me. My coach, Sister Asumini, was so caring, making sure she could support me in all ways possible. On top of that, communicating with her and Brother Hamzah was always very convenient. I loved every bit of this program.

Sr. Mona — Parent
"I've seen so much progress I'm a huge advocate for everything you all do"
★★★★★

I've seen so much progress in both of them that I'm a huge advocate for everything that you all do. I wonder if there's some way that we could be involved in sponsoring to some extent once they're alumni, to keep sponsoring FYQ for those people who can't afford it, who can then benefit from the program.

Aisha A
"My friends ask me are you talking about Five Before College again?"
★★★★★

My friends ask me, "Are you talking about Five Before College again?" I talk about FYQ all the time to my friends. This program has really left nothing unturned, and it has helped me so much with finding what I want to pursue. I love the program.

Muhammed S
"A deep rooting in deen reminding us that we live for Allah"
★★★★★

One major aspect which I found most vital in this course was a deep rooting in deen, constantly reminding that at the end of the day, we live for Allah. Another aspect is the level of engaging with students this made the course feel more like something you want to stay in rather than just any other online Zoom class which feels like a chore. Specific knowledge I gained through this course was that of the nature of dreaming we shouldn't shy away from what we truly yearn to do but we should also execute it in a realistic and sharp fashion. I genuinely think this course will have a great impact on my life. Generally, I would recommend this to any Muslim teen who isn't quite sure where they're going after high school or is feeling a disconnect to their Muslim Ummah.

Zaynab S — FYQ 2026
"Talking with you has been my greatest joy!"
★★★★★

Also, I just wanted to say that you have been one of my highlights in this FYQ program. I wanted to tell you before this program is over. Talking with you has been my greatest joy! Our meetings always felt like a therapy session, and I mean that in a very good way. I always came out of our meetings feeling really happy and feeling like I got a load off my chest. Lots of the things I said to you about how I feel I haven't told anyone else. I feel like I can trust you with anything, and may Allah give you Jannah-tul-Firdaws for all your hard work!! Jazakallah for sticking with me through this whole program.

"Five Before College is life coaching, with an emphasis on college"
★★★★★

Sometimes one weekend changes the questions you're asking. The inaugural FYQ Live started with Jummah at ISBCC, the largest masjid in Boston. Before talking about colleges or admissions, we started with our niyyah our purpose. When I arrived at Blackstone, I found out we were in Malcolm X's old neighborhood, the place where his life began to change. Going into the weekend, I thought we'd mostly be talking about college admissions. Instead, I realized this was actually about becoming the kind of person who can do great things with whatever Allah gives them. I met people who were asking bigger questions than "Where am I going to college?" They were asking what kind of impact they wanted to have and how they could use their talents to serve our Ummah. One lesson has stuck with me: finding your qibla isn't about finding the perfect college or career. It's about finding a purpose worth pursuing and letting that guide every decision after. Jazakallah Khair to the entire FBC team for creating something that was about so much more than college admissions.

Faiz A — FYQ 2026
"These 8 weeks have changed my life"
★★★★★

Salam Br Omar! These 8 weeks have been an incredible experience for me. The 4 D's, the Ikigai, the MVP, the project everything has helped me learn so much and has changed my life. I just wanted to thank you for all the support and help you've given me. You've truly been like a friend and mentor to me, guiding me through everything up to this point. Thanks so much.

Ademide's Mom — Folake A
"8 weeks of coaching brought out so much maturity in his thinking"
★★★★★

Finding Your Qibla is a soul-searching programme designed to guide and mentor teens on discovering their "Why" and innate self, and groom them to finding their passion for college admission and to become better adults. I signed my son up for this programme during the summer, and the 8 weeks of coaching and mentorship brought out so much maturity in his thinking, made him more assured, he was able to identify his passion project, and most importantly increased his love and commitment to his faith.

Mirac A — Parent
"After our conversation, Sirac launched his passion project: Crescent Shelf"
★★★★★

Assalam alaykum Br Hamzah, I pray you are doing well. We spoke last year during the Find Your Qibla program interview for my son Sirac. I wanted to thank you for sharing the Tayseer Wilderness programs in the Path to College Experts group. We have also been enjoying and drawing inspiration from your weekly emails. After our conversation last year, Sirac launched his FYQ passion project: Crescent Shelf, Community Dawah Libraries (crescentshelf.org). JazakAllahu khayran.

Amina C — Parent
"I LOVE everything you all are doing and every email you send"
★★★★★

Salaams Br Hamzah, I LOVE everything you all are doing and every email you send. My son, Yasin, is a rising student and I couldn't be more excited about the possibility of him getting engaged with FiveBeforeCollege as he gets older. My hopes for him are that he continues to grow into a good Muslim, healthy of mind, spirit and body, and that he lives a fulfilling life. I just had to express my enthusiasm and support, and I am always excited to receive your content and ideas!

Syeda — FYQ Live Parent
"It was like an FYQ for adults!"
★★★★★

I thought it would be more child-focused but it was also a place for parents to better themselves as individuals and as parents. It was a reminder to us adults to also continue to pursue our passions because we also never stop learning and growing. It was like an FYQ for adults! I suggest more parent programs and definitely more FYQ Live events because being in the same physical space with like-minded brothers and sisters emotes an energy unlike online experiences. Thank you so much for helping create such a memorable, impactful experience for us. It was like a retreat for the whole family.

Afsa R — FYQ Student
"I really appreciate you always making me feel safe and welcomed"
★★★★★

As-salamu alaykum, thank you so much for today's call. I really appreciate the time you took to get to know me better and going a little overtime. I think it was important for me to share how I feel so that I can actually benefit from the program and improve. JazakAllah Khair. I am really really grateful that I got you as my coach. I appreciate you always making me feel safe and welcomed, which made it super easy for me to open up from the very start. I also really loved all the brainstorming we did together, not just for my passion project but also for ideas on how I can work with my views on breaks and rest.

"FYQ is the best thing Muslim students have in the US"
★★★★★

This is really really amazing. Wish you all all the best! FYQ is the best thing Muslim students have in the US and I wish they would see that and that US Ulamas would support it.

"He helped me find my qibla again after I lost it"
★★★★★

Br. Hamza's webinar was helping and still helping me to navigate a very painful part of my personal life. I used to join his webinar as his student, not as a parent. By Allah's divine plan and inspiration he helped me find my qibla again after I lost it in betrayal of trust. He did it without realizing what he was doing. I hope he knows Allah Taala gave him talent and ability to touch and transform people's lives regardless of age, creed, different backgrounds and abilities.

Naima C — FBC Graduate
"The lessons you've taught us are something I'll carry into college and beyond"
★★★★★

Assalamu Alaikum Br. Hamzah! I just received your beautiful gift, and I wanted to say thank you so much! I'm so excited to hang it up in my dorm room InshAllah! Thank you for everything you and the Five Before College team have done for me over the years. I truly appreciate all of your guidance, encouragement, and support throughout this journey. The lessons you've taught us and the foundation you've helped build are something I'll carry with me into college and every endeavor that follows. JazakAllahu khayran for everything. May Allah reward you and the entire Five Before College team immensely for the impact you've had on me and so many other students.

"That moment became the beginning of my nonprofit, MedCycle"
★★★★★

I've honestly been following a lot of the advice you gave since your lecture at IAGD. That moment honestly became the beginning of my nonprofit, MedCycle. Alhamdulillah, we've donated around 2 to 3 tons of supplies already just this semester.

"Hamza not only helped me reach the Ivy League but helped me find the best fit"
★★★★★
🎓 Ivy League

Hamza not only helped me reach the Ivy League but also helped me figure out how to find the best fit for me. He got to know me, so he was able to give me genuine advice tailored to my preferences and needs. He also helped me distinguish my voice among thousands of other applicants.

Elias — FYQ Student
"This program challenged me to think critically and take initiative"
★★★★★

From my IB application: "One activity I would like to expand on is a coaching program I am currently part of that helps students find their path in life and develop a passion project. Through this program, I am working on creating an application that uses AI to detect fake or misleading news. This project has challenged me to think critically, communicate my ideas clearly, and take initiative. Working on this project has improved my communication, leadership, and emotional intelligence. It has helped me grow both inside and outside of school and better understand my interests and goals for the future."

Mahreen H — Parent
"Her presentation tonight was so impressive"
★★★★★

Assalaamu alaikum, Sister Morjane, thank you for your email and the success plan. We are so appreciative of the work that you and Alina have done together, mash'Allah. Her presentation tonight — each student's presentation, in fact — was so impressive. We truly enjoyed seeing how each child followed their own path and came up with an idea meaningful to them. Alina has loved working with you and greatly values your input and advice. We are delighted that she has formed this connection with you, and are looking forward to more inspired steps throughout FYQ.

Sofia
"I was able to learn a lot about myself and my purpose in life"
★★★★★

This course was extremely helpful for me. I was able to learn a lot about myself and my purpose in life, so I could use it for what the world needs. My favorite aspects of the course were the weekly assignments and 1-on-1 sessions, since they encouraged me to think more deeply and move forward with my passion project. Since taking the course, I was able to take the first few steps towards starting my passion project while gaining experience. I suggest that you take this course if you are interested in starting a project of your own or want to prepare for applying to colleges.

Taymour K
"The Wednesday Power Hours taught me so much"
★★★★★

A couple of things that I felt were really helpful throughout the course were the support from all of the coaches and the universally applicable process for developing a passion project they taught. One of the most helpful parts of the course was the Wednesday Power Hours for me, because I felt as though they taught a lot of interesting and helpful techniques and information. During the program, I learned how to come up with a passion project and use my experiences and my past to help me form that project.

Zehra S
"I learned that I truly love teaching and helping others"
★★★★★

I feel like FYQ really helped me think more about future career options and made me discover and learn more about myself as a person. My favorite part was the 1:1s — I enjoyed being able to talk to my coach and also be listened to. I learned that I truly love teaching and helping others. This made me realize that inshallah I want to be an elementary school teacher.

"This course helped me build confidence and be more open with others"
★★★★★

This course really helped me find new perspectives, help me build my confidence and find my passions. My favorite part of the course would be the 1-on-1s with the coaches, and the FYQ circle and group activities. During this course I learned how to better stay organized and how to pull myself out of bad habits like procrastination. I feel like this course has helped me build confidence, be more open with others and learn to put myself out there. It definitely gave me a clearer vision for the future.

"People assigned as mentors genuinely care and get to know you really well"

I used to think that people assigned as mentors were there just to determine if a person is deserving of something. I realize now that almost all the time, people are genuinely trying to help. They are people who actually care, and they get to know you really well.

"You have to be the one to get the ball rolling"

"He sees the cost of a soccer club as prohibitive for low-income kids"
★★★★★

Many thanks for your continued support and coaching. We have spoken to Rauf. He seems to be inclined to work on building a soccer clinic which progresses into a soccer club for kids at the local mosque. He sees the cost of attending a soccer club as prohibitive for low-income kids and feels this could help him drive community impact and build a plan. He is open for feedback and guidance. I feel this idea should give him good exposure to leadership, building a community, and above all leave a good impact in the community.

Please keep motivating him to start HOSA; I believe it will be a great mark on his college CV.

Asalamu alaikum Br. Hamzah, I've just received your gift in the mail! Thank you so much! I'm very grateful for all that Five Before College has contributed to my high school career and will be using all I have learned through my college years as well. Thank you again and may Allah continue to bless you, your family, and your organization!

"A program that helps you find out more about you and what makes you feel like you can make a difference"
★★★★★

A program to help you find your qibla and purpose through your passions. It's a program that gives you a head start to college while making sure you don't get lost in the trap of this dunya. It's a program that helps you find out more about you and what makes you feel like you can make a difference. A great way to learn more about yourself and help take action on your dreams and goals. A course that helps you become self aware, find YOUR clear direction, and set clear short and long term intentions centered around earning Allah's pleasure. I would say it's a great program — I think everyone should do it even if they think they know what they're going to do, because it helps you find what your strengths are.

"I've benefited in so many other ways"
★★★★★

Find Your Qibla was an amazing, transformative program that helped me map my passions and channel it into making an impact with a passion project. I joined FYQ thinking of simply wanting to get into a good college, but now that I have completed my cohort with them I've benefited in so many other ways. The coaches are really amazing and the learning material is very helpful. Most importantly, I have been able to craft the passion project that is perfect for me and it will inshAllah now be a big part of my life. This is the kind of thing every teen should be doing, and join if you want to start something big of your own while always having the end goal of Jannah.

"It helped me find my passion and interact with new people"
★★★★★

Some things that I found most valuable in this course were how it helped me find my passion and it helped me interact with new people. My favorite part were the FYQ circles. I gained knowledge about college applications and how this can help with that. I grew in my shyness to speak to people I have never met before. I feel like some of my friends should take it because they are just doing like nothing and don't know what to make of their time.

"It helped me find my “why”"
★★★★★

FYQ is a great program and I highly recommend it because, at first I just thought it was a random class my mom signed me up for but after a while it was really fun and interesting and also helped me find my “why.”

"FBC is Truly Unique"
★★★★★

The unique combination of elite mentors, talented students and the ability to extract a marketable and differentiating product from a young Muslim teenager that aligns with and perhaps even enhances their moral compass in just 8 weeks is amazing. Getting into the college of one's choice is the natural byproduct of the kind of character and practical development FBC promotes. Hats off to Hamza and co. for developing a first of its kind program to advance the next generation of the ummah!

"Well structured self reflection, a few bumps"
★★★★★

This program was well structured and helped our daughter reflect on herself to build clarity about how her passions could be turned into practical ways of making a difference in the world. The coaches were attentive and helpful. The social connections she made were rich. The challenges were few: (1) the program was scaling up this year so there were some logistical kinks that still needed to be worked out; (2) the program was more intense than I expected so we were glad we did it in the summer; (3) there was a lot of content so the meetings often ran longer than expected. Overall we were glad we signed up and felt we got our money's worth.

"Genuine care, faith driven youth mentorship"
★★★★★

I love that FBC mentors genuinely care about student success. Br. Hamzah went out his way to accommodate my son and check on his progress, MashaAllah tabarakAllah. One of my Duas for my kids is to have excellent Muslim mentors whom Allah loves, as it truly takes a village to raise a child. Nothing beats Akhira focused youth mentorship. I'm so grateful my son not only found a great mentor, but also his tribe of like minded peers. Alhamdullillah. May Allah allow FBC to help more Muslim youth become excellent servers of the Ummah.

"Fantastic program. Highly recommend"
★★★★★

Great program designed for an age group that needs to identify their strengths and allows them to work towards their passion in a comfortable Islamic environment. Also allows to network with like-minded students and open up avenues that students may not even know to explore. I've personally heard these students projects and myself as a parent have started to think about my own passion projects that have been bottled up for so long! Keep up the good work!

"8th-grade participant in FYQ - very positive experience"
★★★★★

Our 8th-grade son just completed FYQ (Find Your Qibla); a 2-month program that aims to help youth surface what their purpose in life may be, and put it in action. The program includes talks, group discussions, 1:1 coaching, and culminates in a passion project. MashaAllah the coaches are excellent (passionate, gentle, capable, wise) and know how to work with youth. Our coach was Br. Patrick B. The program structure is engaging, and the material is thoughtfully curated. We had some doubts mid program about the pace/priorities, but in the end it was a very positive experience. May Allah put Barakah in this work.

"So much growth"
★★★★★

We signed up two of our children expecting them to benefit. But we didn't know to what extent. We were pleasantly surprised by how much was done in 8 weeks. The kids loved it. They were very engaged and excited for each video call. I have seen so much growth and I'm so happy with the Fin Your Qibla program. I would suggest it for all parents that want their kids to be successful and stay connected to our religion.

"Deen and duniya"
★★★★★

I like that they not only talk about college but also about deen and the ultimate goal is Jannah. With so many distractions it gives students time to think and decide what they want to do and different options they have. They also arrange guests that give more insight into college admissions process and their journey and experiences.

The Finding Your Qibla program has been useful to my son opening his horizon and in the short 8 weeks I have seen tremendous growth in his confidence, Oman and faith and approach to issues. He has been able to connect his passion for basketball to impacting lives through the sports and I look forward to how he is able to take this forward. I am happy I registered him for the program.

My favorite aspect of the College Essay Bootcamp was the office hours, because we got to talk in a small group with Br. Hamzah. "The brainstorming sessions helped me show more of my personal identity"
★★★★★

It was really helpful to go through the brainstorming sessions. Those skills helped me with the initial idea dumps when I started narrowing the themes I wanted to write about. And funny enough, when I was at a crossroads of how to make my personal statement better and show more of my personal identity, I actually used some themes of my very first zero draft in my final drafts.
