For Muslim Students in Grades 8–12 and their Families: Join Us At FYQ Live 2026

If you want your family to finally have a REAL COLLEGE PLAN built around your deen, then you need to discover "WHAT" actually moves the needle for Muslim students. (Hint: MOST families are hiding the one thing that makes their child completely unforgettable to admissions officers…)
July 10th - 12th, 2026 | Live in Boston, MA

Assalam alaykum,
For three years now, I've been coaching Muslim families through a version of the same conversation. It usually starts on a Zoom call. Sometimes it's the parents who reach out first. Sometimes it's the student. Almost always, somewhere in the first ten minutes, somebody says some version of:
"We just feel like we're doing this alone."
I've heard it from a dad in Houston whose son is the only Muslim in his AP Calc class. From a mom in the Bay Area who doesn't know which colleges will actually be safe for her daughter's deen. From a 10th grader in Toronto who told me, very quietly, that he didn't think anyone at his school would understand his college essay if he wrote it honestly.
And here's the thing.
You're not doing it alone. You just haven't been in the room yet.
For three years, Find Your Qibla has been that room but on Zoom. Hundreds of families. Real transformation. Saturday Morning Projects launched. Red umbrellas raised. Acceptances at MIT, Cornell, UPenn, Berkeley, and Harvard, alhamdulillah.
But Zoom has a ceiling. You can't hug someone through a screen. You can't pray Maghrib together. You can't watch a kid who was painfully shy in October stand up in July and read his college essay out loud to a room full of people who actually get it.
So we're doing something we've never done before.

This July, in Boston, we're bringing FYQ to life.
Four days. Students, parents, alumni all under one roof. And inshAllah, a weekend that doesn't just teach your family the college process, but changes the way your family talks about their future.
I want you there.
was-salaam,
Br. Hamzah Henshaw
Founder & Head Coach, Five Before College

Designed to give your family EVERYTHING YOU NEED to finally navigate the college process with CLARITY AND CONFIDENCE
Fully halal meals. Prayer times built into every day. Gender appropriate spaces throughout the weekend. Wudu facilities at every venue. Jumu'ah at the largest masjid in New England.
YES! If you are a Muslim family with a student in grades 8–12, this is for you if…
You are tired of advice that doesn't fit. From guidance counselors who have never worked with a Muslim student, from uncles who mean well, from college websites that never once mention what it costs a Muslim teenager to navigate a system not built for them.
Your child is smart, faith-driven, and capable but nobody has ever handed them a strategy that honors both their deen and their ambitions at the same time.
You have been operating without a plan and you know, deep down, that winging it is not a college strategy.
Your student is a rising senior who is about to start applications without a clear essay, a clear college list, or a clear sense of how to present who they actually are.
You have watched other FYQ families get into Harvard, MIT, Cornell, and UPenn and you want to know exactly what they did and how to replicate it for your child.
You believe this summer is the moment. Not next year, not after 12th grade starts. This is when your family gets the strategy, the community, and the confidence to make the next four years count.

Register now before capacity closes and we will give your family everything you need to walk into senior year with a complete strategy, a cohort of Muslim peers, and a clarity about your child's future that no one has ever given you. Four days. inshAllah.
From the moment you walk in on Friday to the moment you leave on Sunday we want your family to feel taken care of. Here is how we built the weekend around that.
Venue: Blackstone Islamic Education Collaborative (BIEC)

We've learned that the families who get the most out of FBC are the ones who are clear-eyed about what we are and what we're not. So let's be honest about who shouldn't come.
This isn't for families who are looking for an Ivy-or-bust admissions hack.
We don't believe in those. We believe in helping your child build a life that matters in this world and the next and trusting that the right college will follow.
This isn't for parents who want to drop their kid off and disappear.
The parent track is a real track. If you're not willing to spend the weekend in your own programming alongside your child, this isn't the right fit.
This isn't for students who think Islam is something to hide on a college application.
We'll talk about that on Saturday morning. But if you're not at least open to the idea that your deen might be your single biggest advantage, you'll be uncomfortable here.
And this isn't a vacation.
The days are full and every minute is intentional. If you want to make it a family trip and we hope you do, come a few days early, stay a few days after, or take the drive up to Acadia National Park while you are in the region. Just know that July 10th through 12th belongs to your child's future.
If any of that's a dealbreaker, we'd rather you save your money.
We are hosted at the Blackstone Islamic Education Collaborative at 58 Circuit St in Roxbury. Friday Jumu'ah is at ISBCC and Saturday afternoon is at Malcolm X Park. Everything is within the same neighborhood in Roxbury.
Every meal, every snack, every coffee break. All four days. Halal is the floor, not a feature.
We'll send a recommended hotel list with a group rate. All hotels will be within easy driving distance of Roxbury. There are multiple options within 10-15 minutes of drive.
Every prayer is built into the schedule. We pray together as a community at every salah. Wudu spaces and prayer rooms are available at every venue.
Not at all. The 8th grade pivot point is the whole reason FBC exists. Find Your Qibla and FYQ Live are designed for grades 8 through 12, with parallel programming for parents.
The main programming is built for one student + one parent per family. Younger siblings and extended family aren't part of the program.
Yes. You'll get a private email with first-wave access at reduced pricing. Make sure to use that coupon mentioned in the email (on checkout page). If you have any question, WhatsApp FBC Team (617) 784-1585
Modest, comfortable, weather-appropriate. Saturday afternoon at the park is athletic wear. Sunday on campus is a slightly nicer version of the same.

Get a COMPLETE COLLEGE STRATEGY, AND CLARITY about your child's future that no guidance counselor has ever given you.
